supposed to be 130 miles.  7 of 28 teams made the time cutoff for completing the course. we powered through 110 miles of gravel and pavement, dust and grime, sweat and joy and a touch of suffering.  it only took 10 hours, 10 liters of water, 2 gatorades, 2 cliff bars, 1 pound of trail mix, a banana, a breakfast sandwich and half a snickers bar to sustain me.  someone with a fancy computer clocked...
